The northernmost port of Sardinia. The commercial port of Santa Teresa is considered the island’s gateway to Corsica, which is just 50 minutes by boat. Located in one of the most evocative geographical areas of Gallura, the port is set in a narrow inlet and consists of a quay used for ferries with a daily connection to Bonifacio.

Passenger Services

In the passenger port there are transit areas consisting of a waiting room, a parking area and a commercial area with a bar and two ticket offices.

Road Connection

The port is connected: towards the East by the state roads 133 bis and 125 Orientale Sarda, to the city of Olbia (61 km)
towards the West via the SP90 to the Sassari / Porto Torres / Alghero junction (about 150 km).

Intermodal Passenger Centres

The closest intermodal passenger centre is: Piazza Bruno Modesto 8 minutes on foot.

Railway Station

Santa Teresa is not served by a train service. The most important and closest stations are Olbia and Sassari, which can be reached by bus.

Airport

The nearest airports are Olbia and Alghero.
Olbia airport is directly connected to Santa Teresa di Gallura by a Turmotravel company bus every day at 2:00 pm in winter and up to 12 trips a day in summer. Alghero airport is connected in the summer season with two runs, one at 11:15 and the other at 18:30 by the Digitur company

Local and Regional Public Transport

In addition to the connections with the airports, there are numerous connections between Santa Teresa and the whole territory of Northern Sardinia. The provision of private buses varies greatly from year to year, whilst the public service provided by ARST remains more constant.
